TICKETS
The Musei Civici di Vicenza circuit includes Museo Civico di Palazzo Chiericati, Museo Naturalistico Archeologico, Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza - villa Guiccioli and Gallerie di Palazzo Thiene. Furthermore, it includes other monuments of artistic importance: the Teatro Olimpico, the Church of Santa Corona and the Basilica Palladiana.
There are numerous types of tickets for single locations or cards with entry to multiple museum locations.
Entry is always free for people with disabilities and their companion. It is however necessary to collect the tickets before the visit at the ticket offices in Piazza Matteotti 12 or Piazza dei Signori 18.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Strollers
Prams and strollers for children can enter the museums but cannot be left in the cloakroom during the visit. It is recommended to be very careful when moving around the rooms and not to leave them unattended.
During the visit to the Teatro Olimpico, strollers can be left in the bookshop room (ask the staff on duty for assistance).
Pet access
Access is granted to small animals held in arms or in a carrier, guide dogs for the blind, service dogs for assistance to the disabled and pets certified as providing therapeutic care (pet therapy) with certificates issued by doctors at public health facilities.
Food and drinks
Food or drinks cannot be consumed inside the museums; however, children are allowed to drink from baby bottles, glasses or bottles closed with a drip-stop system.
Luggage
Large luggage is not permitted inside the museum.

AAC Guides
The mini guides in Augmentative and Alternative Communication are available in all 7 civic museum and were created as part of the Social and Inclusive Tourism Project of the ULSS 8 Berica, with the Municipality of Vicenza as project partner.
3D reprodutions of works
Thanks to the projects “Vicenza inclusion” and Turismo Sociale e Inclusivo, 31 reproductions of works in 3D have been created with Braille captions, designed primarily to be touched by people with visual impairments, though usable by everyone. The works are in five museum locations and were created by Shape 3D Veneto, a start-up from Vicenza.
Tactile maps
Available at the Archaeological Area of Basilica Palladiana, the Churches of S. Corona and S. Lorenzo.
The tactile maps were created by Incisoria Vicentina thanks to the collaboration of the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted People of Vicenza. The maps in the Churches were created with the support of the Rotaract club of Sandrigo.

The website was created according to the WCAG 2.1 level A/AA standards.
The pages are responsive and compatible with screen readers.
The use of the Lexend font can reduce visual stress and improve reading performance.
