Vicenza Inclusion - Tactile tour at Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza

The "Vicenza Inclusion" project is developed by the startup Shape 3d Veneto for the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Vicenza, allowing the blind and visually impaired public to explore and learn about some of the most important works on display in the museum.

Five works are accompanied by 3D scale reproductions of the paintings made of PLA, a recyclable and eco-sustainable plastic material derived from corn starch:

History of Vicenza - May 1848 by Pietro Negrisolo (approx. 1855-1860);

Republican Venice Resurrected to Freedom and Art with the Tricolor Flag by Giacomo Casa (1848);

The Defense and Evacuation of the Rocchetta by Agostino Bottazzi (1855);

Victor Emmanuel II Decorating the City Flag by Domenico Petterlin (1866);

Portrait of General Antonio Chinotto by Gianni Maineri (1935).
